Group Exercise
Rise and Shine with Sheila
Jump-start your morning with an hour long workout that is guaranteed to wake you up and get you moving.  Step Aerobics or Cardio Ball will consist of simple routines that will not overwork your mind at this early morning hour.  A strengthening, toning and stretching segment will end the class.

Cardio Fusion
This class has a little bit of everything . . . kickboxing, cardio ball, step, body sculpting and stretching.  This challenging class will offer you a very effective workout with lots of variety and intensity.  After warm up you will be put through intervals of 4 – 5 minute cardio combinations.  Cardio balls and tubing are used for body sculpting and abs strengthening, followed by a stretching segment.

Kickin' It Cardio! with Leigh or Karen
A fun and energetic cardio workout that involves easy to follow combinations set to motivational music.  The class includes a body-sculpting segment and core work.

Step & Sculpt
Start your day with a challenging workout.  Full of energetic step combinations which boost your cardiovascular system, this class also focuses on body sculpting and core work.

Cardio Remix  * NEW - NEW - NEW *
Join Karen in this exciting, new morning class that will offer a varied workout every week.  This class will combine choreographed hi/lo cardio combinations and kickboxing patterns, as well as resistance (strength building) training using dumbbells, balls and your own body weight.

Step and More
Using the step, Donna will lead the class through a choreographically challenging routine, periodically interrupted with an aerobic interval.  These intervals may use the step, resist-a-ball, or your own body to elevate the heart rate.  This has been proven to be an effective way to vary your workout and burn more fat!  The class will end body sculpting, an ab workout, and a nice  relaxing stretch.

Zumba            * NEW - NEW - NEW - NEW *
It’s a fitness party!!  Zumba is a fusion of Latin inspired music and easy to follow dance moves that create a dynamic fitness class.  Routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.

Body Pump
Did you know that the more muscle you have, the higher the rate at which your body will burn calories, even when you’re not working out?  More muscle mass will increase your “metabolic rate”.  That is why strength training is so important for both men AND women.  Also called resistance training, it should be one of the 3 major components of every fitness program (the others being aerobic conditioning and flexibility training), but many times we don’t know what to do or how to begin.  This class will show you!!  Our instructor will lead you through an hour training session working all of the major muscle groups of the body with different types of equipment.

Friday Night Healthy Hour  * NEW - NEW *
Before you head out  on the town for “Happy Hour”, make it a guilt free evening and stop by the YMCA for our new “Friday Night  Healthy Hour” group exercise class.  The Y instructors will keep you on your toes in this class by rotating, mixing it up and giving you something new and different to enjoy every Friday Night!

   BODY TONING GROUP EXCERISE

Yoga/Pilates
Combine the relaxing benefits of yoga with the muscle toning action of pilates.   This class incorporates traditional yoga postures and the controlled movements of pilates, which helps to develop and maintain physical fitness, flexibility and strength, while also sculpting your muscles.

Pilates
This class is designed to tone and sculpt your entire body.  Slow controlled movements are used to sculpt and shape to give you long lean muscles, improve posture, increase balance & control, and improve overall well-being.

Summer Sunset Evening Yoga
July 2nd - August 13th 
Join Leigh for this special summertime addition to our group exercise schedule.  A perfect way to wrap up those busy summer days.  This program is designed to provide a holistic approach to exercise.  Yoga poses build strength, enhance flexibility, and relieve stress and tension working inwards while “working out”.
