Dodgeball is back!! This fun game is played with a soft ball in a controlled setting. After learning the basic rules of dodgeball; teams will be formed for league play. Safety will be stressed, as well as respect; fair play and responsibility for one’s own actions. Participants will sign up individually and be randomly placed on teams.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

The Geneva Family YMCA has partnered with Challenger Basketball to offer a program developed especially for disabled children and young adults ages 5 and up. Participants will have an opportunity to engage in positive interactions with adult coaches and build self-esteem through physical activity. This program is available through the courtesy of the United Way of Ontario County and is being offered free of charge to anyone who wishes to participate. Volunteers are needed; please contact the YMCA if you would like to help with this program.

Youth Soccer Registration begins August 1st *Please note: NO special requests will be honored after 8/31/11 Our soccer program focuses on teaching the basic skills of soccer including kicking, passing, dribbling and defense. Games will be played Saturday mornings and one practice will be scheduled per week. Players will also be invited to attend a one day soccer clinic with the Hobart Statesmen Soccer Team during the season. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Bitty Basketball Our Bitty Basketball program is designed to introduce the game of basketball in a fun, non-threatening atmosphere. Our goal is for every program participant to be successful. Children will learn basic skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, proper positions and simple offensive plays. The emphasis of our program is placed more on enjoying the sport of basketball, rather than a struggle for first place. Remember, it's always a tie at the Y!! REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Grades 2 – 3
